Biography:

In1986, I discovered speleology in my hometown Arlon, in the south of Belgium. Unortunately, in 1988, I left the country and stopped caving for a long time. In 2012, I am back in business with the speleo club of University of Liege. Since then, I have had opportunities to participate ih:

  • Cave exploration in Montenegro (Durmitor mountains-2012)
  • Many camps in Europe (including Canyoning): England, (Yorkshire-2014), France (Gouffre du Berger-2015), and many others in Jura, Ardeche, etc...
  • Explo photo in Terra Ronca NP, Brazil (2017)
  • ICPM3 (Turkey - 2015) ICPM4 (USA - 2018) ICPM5 (Japan - 2019)

My first contact with caving photography was in Turkey, at ICMP3 (2015). At the time, I didn't know anything about photography. Since then I am Learning the "job" with passion... sometimes not very seriously, I admit!

I have learnt mainly with Vincent Gerber. I am using light painting technique at the moment, and I probably will switch to flashes (bulbs?) one of these days...

ICPM are perfect moments to discover and improve my techniques in cave photography, being surronded by all these talented photographer, but it is also a great human story, where you get to meet all nationalities and cultures.

What else do you need? :-)
